Dr. Alka Nayak

I am a Periodontist and planning to start a full-fledged implant treatment service at my clinic. During my post-graduation, we were more enthusiastic towards learning the surgical aspect of placing implants. But as we carry this practice to our private clinics, we start to understand the gravity of implant prosthodontics. To provide a complete and holistic implant treatment to my patients, I needed to be well-versed with the rehabilitative part of implant dentistry.
The implant prosthodontics course conducted by Dr. Rajat Sachdeva’s dental institute is a very good course if someone wants to hone their skills in restoring implants. The program is synoptic and comprehensive, covers everything I was expecting to learn.
The academy realized that all the trainees were well established in the surgical aspect and therefore, the course mentors did not waste any time repeating the surgical protocols and directly jumped on to the prosthetic part.
Fixed and removable prosthesis, hybrid dentures, Paulo malo prosthesis along with prosthesis for immediate loading implants, everything was covered in detail and was correlated well to the surgical aspect. We were made to do a good amount of hands-on exercises after which we practiced on live patients who already had implants inserted. We were made to make impressions along with recording jaw relations, bisque trial and the final insertion. This kind of complete and wholesome training gives you an excellent idea about the concept and also lets you deal with the complications and errors associated with it.
Overall, I am extremely satisfied with the outcome of the course and would easily recommend it to every surgeon looking to refresh and upgrade their prosthetic skills.
