Dr. Heena

Lasers have been extensively used in dentistry and is employed in the treatment of post herpetic neuralgia, aphthous ulcers and certain malignancies. Having a master’s degree in Oral Medicine and Radiology has certainly taught me the importance of lasers in treating various soft and hard tissue pathologies. In today’s health care scenario, lasers are not only used in private practice but also in teaching hospitals as a part of curriculum for MDS students. Before introducing lasers in my department, I wanted to get trained on a practical basis. I chose Dr. Sachdeva’s dental institute for my course as I personally know Dr. Rajat and his experience in this domain is remarkable.
It has been a great learning experience here and I am fully satisfied with the outcome. It was a 2 day course on a weekend, so that we need not take a break from our regular schedule. The lectures were extensive covering the concepts and physics behind the use of lasers. Special attention was paid to the safety hazards for both dental professionals and patients.
The entire clinic and its infrastructure is at par with international standards, which attenuated both the quality of care provided to patients as well as the quality of training and education imparted to the students.
I would like to congratulate Dr. Rajat & his team and wish him all the best. I would recommend this institute for anyone who is passionate about dentistry and strives to excel in the field.
