Dr. Kishore Malik

Being an oral surgeon, I had always been confident in the surgical procedures related to implant dentistry, be it ridge augmentation, sinus lift or even just placing an implant. I have had years of experience in inserting single to full mouth implants. Having said that, I was always lacking in the restorative part of it.
When I decided to pursue a short course to polish my prosthodontics skills, I chose Dr. Rajat Sachdeva’s dental institute in Ashok Vihar, Delhi. This is by far the most advanced course I have ever seen in my career. The curriculum was very exhaustive and covered almost every aspect of implant prosthodontics. The innovative plan for contingencies and long-term restorative solutions have no equal. I would highly recommend attending his program to anyone and it has changed the way I practice in a profound way.
We learnt a great deal about restoring any implant case, from CAD/CAM abutments, platform switching to altered screw channel restorations. We even got to use intraoral scanners and take digital impressions. The laboratory workflow was well explained and I was able to understand what to expect when we send an impression to the laboratory. Jaw relations are an integral part of fabricating a prosthesis. Understanding the physics behind recording maxillomandibular relations is very crucial and it was covered well in the course, both theoretically and practical.
Hands-on exercises and practice on live patients was definitely the highlight of the course. There were plenty of patients for each participant and individual mentoring was provided to each one of us. I am glad and grateful to get this opportunity to be inspired and educated in not only patient management but soft skills as well. A highly recommended course from my end.
