DENTAL COURSES
Thousands of dentists pass BDS every year, but each one of these students have the same question in their minds – what after BDS??
Unlike engineering or MBA courses where the college provides with on-campus recruitments, dental students are usually on their own.
The clinical exposure which they get during internship is very suboptimal. Moreover, with the ongoing pandemic, this exposure has come close to zero.
The students can however choose to continue their studies and pursue MDS. But it requires a minimum of a year or two of undeterred dedication towards achieving limited number of seats.
Starting one’s own setup seems to be a feasible option but considering the subpar clinical exposure, it again puts the dentist on back foot. A successful dental career requires fine skills with an aesthetic sense.
