In this course we focus on the various aspects to be considered before we move on to designing and placing a crown and bridge prosthesis. Our institute provides with the best of equipment and machinery which included intraoral scanner and digital representation of the oral cavity, that helps one to assess the missing teeth and occlusion. Planning prosthesis with adequate assessment of crown and root structure, correct abutment selection and selection of proper crown depending on available bone structure, requires necessary knowledge and skill. A major aspect of fixed prosthesis is planning and to decode the art, our specialists provide you with adequate number of cases and live demonstrations.

We use CAD-CAM technology for fabrication of crown. Through the course, you learn to integrate knowledge into real practice and fundamentally work on patients. Learn the principles of tooth preparation both on models followed by live procedures on patients, followed by advances in impression technique, providing temporaries and to conclude learn the different kinds of cementation techniques for final prosthesis.

The term crown and bridge hands-on course doesn’t do justice to what this course offers, because it goes well beyond teaching us the tooth preparation and fabrication of crowns. All the participants of the course did not only learn to perfect the concept of preparation of tooth but also learnt the diagnosis, decision-making (regarding the type of crown), importance of photography and microscopes in dentistry. As opposed to the arbitrary approach that is directly starting the procedure, Dr. Rajat presses on the importance of visualizing the end-result before we begin. This not only guides the dentist to carry out his procedure effectively, but also reassures the patient. Not every clinic in India are using intraoral scanners and getting a chance to do it during the course was a golden opportunity.
