Dr. Sanjeev (DDS)
I have been practicing implants in California for about 15 years now. Implants form a major part of our dental services and I, as the lead dentist have always tried to improve myself by learning and gaining knowledge on various advancements in the field.
Zygomatic and pterygoid implants has proven to the best and long-lasting option for patients with maxillary atrophy. As a practicing dental surgeon, I think we must acquire the training and skills to be able to offer this treatment option to our patients. I got to know about zygomatic course conducted by Dr. Rajat Sachdeva in Delhi through internet searches.Although I had contacted other academies as well, I immediately felt a spark and comfort with Dr. Rajat and believed that he would be the right mentor. So, I joined the course immediately and the experience have been truly amazing. The course was very practical-oriented, with a lot of patient and surgical exposure.
Dr. Rajat’s expertise and surgical acumen was something we could all learn from. No matter how much you read and watch surgeries about advanced procedures like zygoma implants, when it comes to doing it on a patient, it boils down to our experience, intelligence and presence of mind. There were many such moments during our training, when we had to change and modify our technique so as to suit the patient’s anatomy. It was beautifully carried out by Dr. Rajat, even when we didn’t have a guide, or as he likes to call it. “A brain-guided” surgery.
Dr. Sachdeva is a fantastic and gifted surgeon whose philosophy makes the patient as center of focus, and this makes me want to adopt the same in my practice too. The attention to details was something I could really learn from. I personally liked the way he simplified his technique using straightforward logic for easy understanding.
The set-up at his academy is at par with international standards with no compromise on the quality of care to their patients. I am definitely coming back for more.

A comprehensive, thorough and an excellent course on zygomatic and pterygoid implants by Dr. Rajat Sachdeva. I have met Dr. Sachdeva in a conference in Tokyo, where I heard his lectures on the topic and participated in his case discussions. I automatically connected with his teaching style and his conduct and approach.
I have had an opportunity to attend 3-days workshop conducted by him on zygomatic and pterygoid implants. The experience had been amazing and an eye-opener. Although, there are a lot of techniques advocated around the internet about these implants, choosing what is right for your patient and the case is the first step for a successful case. There is no second opinion that Dr. Rajat’s technique of conserving as much as native bone as possible is definitely the best one. It not only less invasive and saves a lot of natural bone but also minimizes the chances of complications. The composure and self-possession reflected by him during the surgery is what I go for in a surgeon. The small amends and last-minute changes in the technique to increase the chances of success comes only from years of experience and discipline in the field. Over and above all, the practical tips and tricks given to maximize the great outcome was remarkable.
As I go back today, I am glad I made this decision in my career. The concepts we learnt is going to stay with me forever. I am taking back a lot of confidence and credence to start my career in zygomatic and pterygoid implants.
If you want to learn more about advanced surgeries, there is no course that is more comprehensive. Dr. Rajat brings an incredible amount of firsthand experience and knowledge and is able to relate that to people at all levels of surgical experience. I am definitely going to recommend this course to my colleagues and other residents.
Dr. Prakash (DDS)
Dr. Rajat Sachdeva’s dental institute is a world class destination for practitioners wanting to step up their game. I have been impressed with the amount of information, the delivery of information and how to incorporate it into daily practice. I enrolled for his course on zygomatic and pterygoid implants and it wasn’t until I finished the entire program that I appreciated how much I love implants in general.
I have been doing implants and related procedures like sinus lifts for a few years now. I felt a need to learn about zygomatic and pterygoid implant placement procedures as they are becoming a popular treatment option in the U.S and also worldwide. It seems unsatisfying to not be able to offer such advanced treatments to your patients, even when they can afford it.
The key highlight of this course has to be the live training on patients. Although it was a 3-day workshop, we covered 3-4 surgeries placing zygomatic, nasal and pterygoid implants. Every step was demonstrated to us not once but thrice or 4 times, so that we understand and experience what was actually going on. Most of the teaching surgeons while performing such complicated surgeries, tend to concentrate on operating and what the students get to see is the end result. But it was different with Dr. Rajat, where he made sure that the trainees were involved in the procedure and the staff were cooperative enough to give us a complete three-dimensional view of the mouth.
There are a lot of other courses around the world providing this course, but the curriculum of this course is different that is student-centered. It has been designed to incorporate just enough amount of theory and more of practical nuances and tips which opens our mind to think out of the box. Not every case we get can be predicted, but a sound training will prepare us to treat any type of bone structure, nerve proximities, bone defect, smile line or any other challenging factor.
I can swear by this course and would suggest it to every implant surgeon.
